Silver Studios are proud to have been involved in the final season of The Crown. We created postvis for the VES nominated Episode 3 Dis-Moi Oui, animating the stag for a handful of shots.
Experimenting with different plate options and lower resolution models in the postvis stage, can save time and can help tighten the edit before sending to the final vendor, in this case, Framestore.
We also provided techvis, assisting in the planning of a large scale crowd shoot for episode 6. Creating a 3d Model from a lidar scan of the set location, we were able to virtually place cameras to help the Director, VFX Supervisor and Cinematographer choreograph the location of extras in a methodical, organised manner.
